Established in 2011, for twelve years Berkshire Nomads was the only Nomads Club in the United Kingdom but this changed in 2023 with the inauguration of Gloucestershire Nomads. During March and October approximately 50 like minded people meet once a month to play golf and raise money for charitable causes and, as the name suggests, Berkshire Nomads, plays its monthly games in and around Berkshire. The highlight of our playing calendar is our National Tournament which will be held at Old Thorns Resort on the 11th and 12th of July 2026.
One of the cornerstones of Nomads is to raise money for those less fortunate than us. During the 14 years of its existence Nomads Berkshire has supported Prostate Cancer UK, The Knights Foundation (which serves Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey) and the NHS Berkshire Trust with more projects planned for 2026.
Our games are played throughout the year on great courses in Berkshire
Our games are played in and around Berkshire and our calendar consists of 8 monthly games, a National Tournament and a Mystery Tour. The season starts in August and culminates in July at our National Tournament. Full dates and venues are listed in the Playing Calendar.
